Outside 29 Chimera Court, Friday Evening
The day at the Trooper Station had passed as uneventfully as it began. The strange feeling of anticipation had yet to dissipate, though, and maybe that was why Liam was taking his time with the walk from the station to the house. If there was a long way, he might have opted for that. But there wasn't, so instead he just... meandered. Told himself he was just doing a routine patrol, making sure everything was okay.
In reality, he was waiting. For what? Well. He'd find out soon enough.
[ooc: for one, but can be open, sure.]

This was where she needed to be.
This street specifically, as it happened. Convenient.
"Hello, Liam," she said, stepping out into the glow cast by a street lamp.

He opened his mouth once, twice, desperately trying to find something to say.
"... Agent Beckett," he finally settled on.

'How' seemed a pointless question to ask, given that he himself had managed the same feat a little over two years ago. Although he had the sinking suspicion Siobhan's return was a less permanent one. And so instead of 'how', it was: "How long do you have?"
