MHA #6, Friday Evening

So last Valentine's Day, Verity had made a valiant attempt at a romantic dinner. It... well, the evening had ended well, though the dinner itself had been a lost cause.

This time, Liam was determined to pull off the dinner part of the evening successfully, and to that end had temporarily banished her from the apartment, because last year there hadn't even been sex pollen adding an extra layer of difficulty to the endeavor.

Though it had been nearly a month, the smell of cooking meat still made his stomach churn, so there had been a lot of vegetarian meals happening. Tonight was no exception, and as soon as the eggplant parmesan was out of the oven, he texted Verity to let her know it was safe to come home.

He was loathe to let her go, especially the way she was pressed up against him like that, but he couldn’t very well take her shirt off without doing so.

Or divest himself of his pants, which, lets face it, had been uncomfortably tight for most of the evening so far.

Verity's hands were there to help him with those pants. Well. 'Help' which involved a lot groping, gripping, and touching, making whining noises any time her hands were pulled away from the front of his pants by her shirt.

"Still wearing too many clothes," Liam complained, once he'd finally managed to wrest Verity's shirt from her. Was he talking about her, or himself?

(The answer was, of course, "both".)

"I'm wearing a skirt at least," Verity said, hiking hers up over her hips and dragging his hand down to where she desperately needed it.

"We sure you're not the one with the Sight?" Liam murmured, questing fingers seeking out that heat between her legs. "S'good planning." Was kind of the theme of the night, apparently.

"Don't need the Sight to know where tonight was going," Verity teased, head falling backwards as his fingers stroked her hotter, wetter. "Not when I want you so bad I ache."

“Dunno why people hate this week so much,” Liam said cheerfully, as if the first time they’d experienced this while dating hadn’t been awkward at points, up to and including what had almost been, you know, his first time.
