Infopost: I didn't find a lot of gifs, but I did find some, so here you go
No newbies, but there was an adoption and I actually managed to find some gifs, so. Here you go:
Liam Kincaid-Price (firstofitskind):
* is from the late-90s/early 2000s TV series "Earth: Final Conflict". If you enjoy series that start off compelling but then repeatedly drop the ball and turn in to a ridiculous mess of disappointment, have I got a show for you.
* is 8 and the town sheriff. (no, that number is not a typo.)
* is from Washington, DC.
* is from a world where alien influence has been manipulating human evolution for millions of years, and one of those species (the Taelons) arrived on Earth to much public fanfare somewhere around 2008.
* is two-thirds human, one-third an alien species called the Kimera (yes, that's how I got my name).
* grew from infancy to adulthood in the span of about an hour.
* has the genetic memories of all three of his parents. So from his human parents he gets the stuff that allows him to function as an adult in human society, from his alien parent he got... the collective knowledge of millenia of galactic exploration and genetic meddling.
* has the ability to shoot purplish-pink glowy bursts of energy from his hands called shaqarava. These are usually destructive or defensive, but can also be used to heal. When they're not activated, they show up as a reddish triangular mark on his palms.
* can also transfer emotions/thoughts/energy to another person via touching them palm-to-palm in something called a Sharing. This is why he's generally not a touchy person unless you're a close friend.
* and can absorb the memories/appearance of someone he touches, although that ability generally only tends to get used during major plots. Both times he's done it he's ended up with absolute assholes in his head so... not super keen to do it again? But probably will, if he felt it necessary.
* used to work for the Taelons, and ALSO for the Resistance that wanted the Taelon influence off of Earth.
* spent a year as pure consciousness after unsuccessfully trying to unite the dying Taelon and Jaridian species into something new. It didn't work, he 'died', and a ship full of space vampires that had been hibernating for millions of years woke up.
* has corporeal form again (... obviously) and is hanging out in Fandom in order to to experience wtf life is like when you're not at the centre of a complex intergalactic political struggle.
* lives with his wifearboreal_priestess and their colony of talking mice, who have given him the name God of Distant Stars.
* recently informally adopted the delightfulbookbeltof_love. Would never admit it out loud, but is secretly a little jealous of the Argentums (not Prompto, in fact, especially not Prompto if he ever found out how his parents were/are basically never around for him) for having legal dibs.
Juillenne "Jules" Milone (legionqueen):
* is from Kendare Blake's Three Dark Crowns book series, specifically from just after canon.
* is 17 and a junior.
* has heterochromia - her left eye is green, her right eye is blue. I know the icons don't reflect this, but the PB was perfect otherwise, so we're pretending. Said PB is Jessica Szohr.
* is from a little island called Fennbirn, where most people are born with specific magical "gifts".
* is the most powerful naturalist (that is, people who can control/communicate with plants and animals) in several generations.
* has a familiar named Camden, who is a mountainlion cat.
* had her future read by an oracle soon after she was born, and it was Not Good, because she...
* is something called 'legion-cursed', which is what the people of Fennbirn refer to anyone born with more than one gift. It's a curse because the unfortunate person usually ends up going insane.
* had her other gift bound by her mother using "low magic" (spells, bound in blood). That binding is now completely broken.
* as such, also has a fully-functional war-gift: telekinesis, the ability to read an opponent's moves and predict them with uncanny accuracy, and dead-perfect aim with any weapon.
* went on what she thought was a regular trip home this past summer, ended up the figurehead of a revolution that saw the end of the traditional line of queens, and has now been officially dubbed the Legion Queen and is, as such, in charge of a whole island. While also attending high school, like ya do.
* Her left leg's been amputated just above the knee. She's still scrappy as all get-out and will gladly throw down with anyone who she feels deserves a thrashing, but she also uses a crutch to get around day-to-day.

* is from the Vancouver area, British Columbia, Canada.
* is therefore on Pacific Time
* is, after 20+ years, finally not working in a store (though still in retail, just for corporate now), and is mostly available weekdays after 5:30 or on weekends, but prone to the occasional SP pinging during the day when possible.
* hangs out in Discord a lot.
* is like most of you, incredibly flaily about emailing people with ideas despite being one of the people responsible for the day-to-day adminnery of this game.
