Liam's Shuttle, Fandom and then beyond, Tuesday Evening
So this time last year, Liam and Verity had woken up together for the first time. Yeah, much like this past weekend, it had been after being small children for a few days. But they'd decided that since that first weekend had involved sharing (toy) weaponry, then the morning after ought to count as far as anniversaries went.
Look, it made sense to them, just go with it.
A few months ago, Liam had promised Verity both flying lessons and a look at the Northern Lights, and tonight seemed like the perfect opportunity to make good on that promise, and so he'd worked out a flight plan to guide her through and packed a picnic dinner for when they got to their destination. Now all he needed was, well. Verity herself.
[ooc: for the giiiirl.]

The fact that nearly everyone seemed to just naturally fall in to the habit of personifying the island was really just more evidence in favor of that conclusion.

"Sure, it drives me nuts sometimes," Liam had to agree. "But without the island, there wouldn't be an us, so I can't complain too much."

"I didn't think it was possible to be 'ridiculously happy'," he admitted. "You've shown me so much..." and not just in the purely physical sense, thank you.

"Like peanut butter sandwiches and the excitement of having your own congregation?"

Whimsy and fun. And at the same time, had dragged him into a squabbling mess of a family one silver bullet at a time.
"You're mine," she whispered into the kiss. "All mine."
She could share him, of course, but...hers.

"Yours," he agreed. "Love you."

"You're the only one I'd trust to fly me anywhere," he murmured.
